First Congregational Church is a local, non-denominational body of believers who take seriously the words of the apostle Paul when he wrote in Colossians 1:28: “We proclaim Him [Christ], admonishing and teaching everyone with all wisdom, so that we may present everyone perfect [mature] in Christ.”
We strive to follow this Biblical precedent in various ways throughout each week:
Our Sunday morning worship services are centered with the expositional preaching of God’s Word.
We nurture meaningful relationships with one another by providing mid-week Bible studies and discipleship groups for the men and women.
Sunday School classes that are relevant to living a Christ-centered life in the world today are available for all ages.
We also offer a mid-week activities night for our teenagers and a mid-week “AWANA” Bible club for kids.
It is our prayer that you would choose to make First Congregational Church of Almont a place where you can call home.

AWANA Open House - Wednesday, September 17
All are invited to attend an AWANA Open House. A light supper of sandwiches, chips, fruit, dessert, and beverage will be provide at no cost. Bring the whole family. This will be an opportunity to pre-register your child (children) and to meet the AWAMA Team. You may also wish to order a uniform or other merchandise that will be available.
