What can I expect at a Sunday Service?

What our service is like

On Sunday morning we begin with announcements and then spend a few fun moments greeting one another. A call to worship brings us all back to our seats and then we sing songs to prepare our hearts for the service. Prayer quiets our hearts before the Lord. The offering is next, followed by the sermon. Sermons usually last between 30-40 minutes. The service closes with a final song and the benediction. A typical service lasts about 1 hour and 15 minutes.

Music you will hear

The music we sing at FCC is a blend of old and new. We love the doctrinally rich hymns of the sixteenth century and we find blessing in the choruses of the twenty-first. We enjoy congregational singing, which emphasizes the gathered body singing praise to God with one voice as well as special music by those God has gifted.

After the Service

Many people linger in the sanctuary to catch up with one another and to meet visitors. Our other gathering place is Fellowship Hall where light refreshments are served immediately after the service to encourage fellowship.
