Student Ministries

Here at the First Con Student Ministries (FCSM) we try to approach the Christian life from a balanced perspective.  We believe that each person who has a relationship with Christ should be involved in a variety of things reflected in our purpose statement:

First Con Student Ministries exists to HONOR (worship) God, EQUIP (disciple) students, ASSEMBLE (fellowship) with other believers, REACH (evangelism) students with God’s love, and TOUCH (minister) other’s lives for Christ.

We’d love to talk with you more about what it means to have a relationship with Christ, and how you can grow in that relationship.

Missions We Support

Lapeer Pregnancy Resource Center

This pregnancy care center opened in 1991 as a spontaneous volunteer organization in response to the needs of women experiencing unexpected pregnancies.  Lapeer Pregnancy Resource Center is affiliated with Care Net which is a network of pregnancy care centers in the United States and Canada.  LPRC is committed to the sanctity of all human life including that of the unborn, and the sanctity of sexuality within the marriage bond.  The Center is supported totally by local churches, community organizations, and concerned citizens.

LPRC provides practical help to those wishing to find alternatives to abortion.  This help is personal and designed specifically with the woman or family experiencing a crisis pregnancy in mind.  The Center offers a variety of services giving advice, support, practical assistance, and hope in Jesus Christ.

Our church supports the Center financially as well as promotes and participates in the LPRC Walk-a-thon each September and Sanctity of Human Life Sunday each January.
