Jesus’ disciples would have to grow in knowledge and faith to become faithful messengers of the gospel. The disciples would have to go through a series of “moltings”. Like the disciples, we too need to “molt”. Real growth occurs when we personally experience God working in and through us. Spiritual transformation takes time and patience.
