These events in which God displayed his power, provision, and care are also about emptiness and us acknowledging the void in our lives. Until we acknowledge our emptiness and go to God in our emptiness, desiring to be filled, not only with the good things God has for us but by God Himself, we cannot receive Him and be filled by Him.
